Wow, can you believe it? I’m actually posting. I bet you thought you’d never need to look at my blog again. I’ll attempt to start using this as a way to share my thoughts and happenings once more.
I’ll do a quick catch-up for anyone that might have missed an occurrence in my exciting life : ) I was laid off last year, but then found the best job in the world working for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I work in the family history department, helping patrons correct data problems in new.familysearch.org. During the layoff, my basement progress stopped, but we stepped it up in the fall and had it finished for Christmas. It is so nice to have more space. Our second daughter, Naomi Caroline, was born last month. We’ll see if we can keep the gender tie going. So far, Naomi is in the running to be our only child that doesn’t constantly spit up. She will save us a fortune on dry cleaning.
Be prepared for posts concerning family history. I work in it at least 40 hours a week, then come home and work on my own, then answer questions from others all weekend. It is great to be involved in it. I never tire of it.
