Great Home Teachers!

We've been blessed over the last year and a half to have some very faithful home teachers. They come the second Tuesday of every month without fail. They tailor the majority of the lessons to our kids, which helps a ton with getting Hyrum and Payton to sit still and be a little more reverent. Chett is the human jungle gym for Hyrum, thanks Chett! Or they will discuss if Batman or Spiderman is better (Chett is batman obsessed and Hyrum is with Spiderman). Roger is always soft spoken and caring. They have watched our kids so we can go out for our birthdays and anniversary, which has been very helpful. He also suggested to us the great idea of me giving Rheanna 15 minutes or so each day (or at least on the crazy days) to let her have alone time in our room, while I occupy all the kids. I know Rheanna has appreciated it on the days I've pulled through and accommodated for that to happen. Well, last night, our home teachers offered more in their efforts to serve us. He said he wasn't very handy, so probably wouldn't be able to fix our car, do yard work, or patch the roof, but his family could definitely help out with babysitting. He committed us to allow them to watch our kids once a month so that Rheanna and I could go on a date. It was really nice. We want to go out, but often don't b/c it's so expensive. We have other people that we call on for babysitting favors from time to time, but usually to do something with our callings or doctor visits, or Rheanna's parents will when we are going to a neighborhood party or something. Anyway, this will be nice as we know it's time for the two of us to go and just enjoy a night out. Thank you Whittens for being such great Home Teachers!
