James the Hero!!!!!!!

I have plenty of posts about Aaron, so here's one about the other friend I carpool with. Last Thursday my brakes started making some noise. Very quickly, they sounded as if they were going to stop working and do some severe damage. James offered his services to help me replace them. On Saturday, I borrowed some of Aaron's tools and James brought along more of his own and set out to fix my car. He had the brakes apart in no time and since we caught it so soon saw that just the pads needed to be replaced. So I ran to Checker and paid a whopping $29.71 for new ones. James soon had them back on after I returned home. Normally, since I know nothing about cars, I run my brakes a few weeks after they start making noise and then ruin the rotors and other things, which usually runs me between $2-400. So Saturday at noon, I was very pleased to have only spent $29. Thanks James for your time, tools and expertise!

DISCALIMER: This is not a solicitation for the neighborhood to use James to fix their cars : )

It was nothing, really. However Justin helped me get in touch with my feminine side.

After not being able to fix Aaron's fuel pump the neighbors should know better then to use me.

Let me clarify James' comment : ) When opening the new brake pads, he reached for his pocket knife, but it wasn't there. He's big on all guys having a "man card" and not being anything but macho. Since he had somehow left his house without his pocket knife, he decided he must be in touch with his feminine side. I'm sure he raced home and grabbed the knife.

If you do not have a pocket knife you may as well be a girl.
