Sunset at Ensign Peak

Last week for Mutual we took the Teachers (the priests flaked) up Ensign Peak. On the drive to Salt Lake we gave some background and had a discussion of the significance of the Peak. We then went to eat at Rumbi (of course) and headed up the hill around 7.

It was pretty cool, in the low 30s, with the wind probably also blowing in the low 30s. We were determined to be up there for the sunset, but didn't know if we'd last. We did though, a full 40 minutes up top with the wind, it was beautiful, just cold.

The boys went a head of us both on the way up and down, but it allowed us to take time for some pictures and more mature talk. We now all know the full courtship and engagement stories of the Monsens, Balls and Dows.

It's a great place to be for sunset, just try it in the summer : )
