Friday night, a bunch of us guys got together to have a fun evening with just guys, pool, food and movies. It was a great time, with some great company.
We went to Noahs in Lindon and rented a room from 6-midnight. We watched the Italian Job, and some episodes of King of Queens.
In attendance were Bret Olsen, Aaron Ball, Greg Miller, Bishop Hunt, Steve Hanks, Mike Zimmerman, myself and Kevin Pyles. That's in order of age, so you all are aware how young I am, since Kevin and I were the only ones in our 20s : ) Of course I am born the same year as Mike, but I haven't had my birthday yet (the big 3-0).
I have to conclude my post by sharing the funniest moment of the night. On the way there we stopped at 5 Buck Pizza in Saratoga. For anyone that's been there, you know it's nearly impossible to pull out of there, turning left towards Lehi, during the Friday night rush hour. After waiting for a few minutes and watching the merciless stream of cars flow by, Bret jumped out of the van to direct traffic. He jumped right in front of oncoming traffic and held up both hands to make the stop. Once the car stopped, with the driver laughing as he most likely was telling his wife of the hilarious site on his cell phone, Bret gave him 2 thumbs up. Then, he directed a car to turn in the parking lot, then beckoned us to go out into traffic and finally coaxed the lady behind us to do the same. He jumped back in and we were on our way. We finally stopped laughing by the time we got to Lindon. Thanks Bret, otherwise we'd still be sitting there.
