Good Bye to Young Men

Most of you know this already, but I just wanted to express my feelings and needed something to post about this week : )

Yesterday I was released from being YM president. It was a great time to serve in there. Working with the youth has better prepared me to be a father of teenagers in a few years (hopefully I'll remember what I've learned). My testimony has greatly increased as I've witnessed the growth in the young men. I truly had the best presidency in the church, we really worked well together. I'm really going to miss working so closely with Aaron, Kevin and Mike. They have taught me much. I went to priest/teacher's quorum yesterday for the last time to watch Mark get ordained a teacher. It was a great event to witness as it brought everything into perspective of what the program is all about.

I'm now the executive secretary, so time for a new chapter. Our bishopric is great so there is no disappointment in working with them, just that I'll miss the good times of camping and other outings. Besides what will I have to blog about. I was told that I can't blog about bishopric meetings : ) Bummer, so I decided I'd just blog about the Stupid Steve Moment of the night j/k Steve. It really is nice to go from working with men that are all a great example and strength to me to some that are equally exemplary and supportive.

Life is great, the church is true. Farewell to the old, and welcome the new! Thank you to all the great young men of the EM 9th ward and thanks to Mike, Aaron and Kevin for all you have done and for understanding and helping me, you will be a great presidency!
