On Tuesday I had people that were willing to watch the kids if I needed (thanks Tiffany) but I decided I had no desire to work, but to play. Hyrum woke up with an ear ache, so I took him to the doctor. What fun that is to visit the doctor with 3 kids. Regardless of the ear infection, we headed to the farm at Thanksgiving Point. Since this was the plan, I had my camera with me and we caught some wildlife right across the street from city hall.
It was fun as usual, although Hyrum was a bit grumpy. We opted for the wagon ride, but the driver didn't realize we were still boarding and the horses jumped forward throwing me off my feet onto the bench, fortunately I held tight to Alec who was screaming in fright, but soon fell asleep on the bumpy ride. Since we had such a rough start, we kept our tickets and the kids were able to use them on the pony rides, so we got 2 for 1.
The rest of the day I lounged about.
Today, I decided I wouldn't be quite so lazy. We got up and out the door by 9. We went to Sandy to the theater to see "Horton Hears a Who" which was great.

I had to get up to get another bottle for Alec, so both kids followed me, but otherwise they did very good for their first theater visit. We returned home to clean the house. And while the kids played outside, I even made banana bread. So finally on day 3 I fit my role of homemaker only to leave it and return to the office tomorrow.
Basically, I tried to stay busy enough so that I wouldn't have to miss Rheanna too much. I will sure be glad to have her home tonight though. It has been super nice that people have brought us dinner, which we have thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you!
