Last week, we got more bark to try and finish up the yard. I didn't realize how tiring it is to pull weeds, dig trenches for edging, lay landscape paper, put in edging, lay bark, redo 3 sprinkler heads, lay some more sod and finally water. Not to mention all of the work to load the bark, sod and supplies in the van and then have to unload them at home. Needless to say I hope that this remains permanent and we only need to add a few bags of bark each spring. Rheanna helped me do some, but then on Saturday I was left to finish on my own. We got the back fence done and then the side of the house. I still have to tackle the back side of the house, but I'm waiting for more motivation or cooler weather, not sure which will come first. At least it's more dirt that is covered and hidden from Hyrum, much to his dismay : )
