Idiot of the Week

A couple of weeks ago, I posted about several idiots that I encountered in one day. Well, in thinking about it and with some encouragement for James I'm posting about another today. In fact, maybe I'll find an idiot every week. Of course, if it's someone I know I won't share. So, if I'm gossiping at least it's not about anyone that I know. How's that for justification : )

Ok, so today we went to fill up with CNG. I got out of the car to go use the card machine. There was a van there filling up also, I didn't really pay attention to it. James decided to get out as well. It turns out the old guy was standing out there smoking. HELLO! We all know smoking at a gas station is a big no no, in fact there are signs always telling you not to, yet here is a guy doing it with big natural gas tanks all around, most likely a bit worse than gasoline ones. James approached him and reminded him that he shouldn't be smoking there. He replied that it didn't worry him any b/c he'd worked on gas furnace repairs for years and would do it then. So, it was nice to know that he didn't care that it made everyone else a bit nervous for him to be smoking there nor did he mind smoking in people's homes while fixing their furnaces. Besides the fact that it's rude to smoke around other people. Maybe he was at the Sandy CNG station in April just before the explosion....
