Return to Rock Canyon

This post won't be very exciting as I don't have any pictures. If you want to see some check out Rheanna's blog or the Monsen's.

A few weeks ago, I got the idea to go camping with a bunch of friends since we weren't able to schedule a ward campout this year. We had so much fun at the fathers and sons that I decided that was a good place to go. We didn't have much planned other than cobbler and breakfast. We could only reserve the smaller group site, so we were very limited in who was able to join us. We ended up with a great group with Paxmans, Monsens, Dones, Hamptons, Bollis, Hunts and us.

We got there at 2:30 along with the Bollis and hung out for a while after we had our tents up. Eventually everyone got there. We pretty much let the kids roam the area and we all just visited and played some games. It took me a while to get our kids asleep, but after Payton escaped the tent for the fourth time, I decided to stay in there with them until they were out, which meant I fell asleep. Just before 11, I woke up and went to the fire to see Rheanna, Paxmans and Monsens still sitting there talking. We had a fun time and eventually called it a night around 1.

The next day the men and kids all went on a hike. It was just a nice relaxing weekend. A good break from yard work that often consumes our weekend.
