Lagoon - It's what Fun is!

On Monday we went to Lagoon. It was hot, which made most people go to Lagoon-a-Beach and leave the rides to us. We did visit the water park for a little bit. The Hanks were there that day too, so we hooked up with them to allow some adult time on rides as we took turns watching kids. It was a lot of fun. They convinced me to go on Rocket Blast Off which is big for me b/c I don't do much for rides due to my easy to set off motion sickness. Heights don't bother me and I have full confidence in the ride being safe, but my body just can't deal with too much motion. I had taken Dramamine so I was in hopes of a successful ride. It was a lot of fun. Rheanna did several rides with Ashley that would have made my stomach turn. Another highlight was the OdySea the newest ride, which is one of my new faves right up there with Rattlesnake Rapids. I love getting wet. It was a very fun day. It was 98 degrees, which was actually near perfect. We of course stuck around for the Broadway Rhythm performance, which had some stuff from Wicked, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray, A Chorus Line and some more. It was good, but not as good as last year's, this time there were only a couple of really good performers. Hyrum spent the day with an ear ache, so he was a bit moody until the Tylenol would kick in. Payton loved it all and just wanted more. Alec was a perfect baby and without that much spit up. It was a great day, now we need to decide if we are going to Bounce Back!
