Day 1
On Thursday, Rheanna wanted to hit up Macey's case lot sale. Since it would be disaster to go with our kids and Rheanna didn't really want to take on the feat herself, I suggested she ask Catey and I'd just watch all of the kids. So since I didn't want to do much that day, it was nice to have a good excuse that I was watching 8 kids so I didn't have to do anything else. The nice part was that all 8 were so good, that I could have accomplished most anything I had wanted, but I didn't. I guess it goes to show that large families are great b/c there's always someone to play with even if you aren't getting along with someone else.
One of the funny events of the day was when the 5 youngest of the group (minus Alec) were all playing quietly in the garage.
Day 2
Yesterday, I went to the gym in the morning to have one last day in the carpool and one last workout with Aaron. It was good, but sad. I'm just hoping I can change my schedule down the road here and make it all happen again. I then did some errands and went shopping. I found a killer deal on two pair of khakis at Old Navy. They were on clearance and they were having a Best Friends sale. With the sale, you were supposed to be there with a buddy, but she gave me the coupon anyway and committed me to give the other half of it to my "bff." Can I guy have a bff? Well, I just told you about my great shopping deal, so I guess this guy can : ) We'll see if Aaron uses the 20% off this weekend. My pants ended up costing me just $7 each.
The rest of the day I helped my brother, Eric, move. We loaded up at his mother-in-law's in West Jordan and then his apartment in Murray. Later last evening he arrived on our street to move into his new house. We got it done and they seemed happy to finally be here.
Well, now it's Saturday, the week is winding down. Monday I start the new job and go back to driving solo.
