Funny Kids

All of you with kids know how often they can just say the most random funny things. Well, Monday night was no different.

We were having family home evening and discussing the 2nd article of faith. I was explaining it in detail so they would understand, from the Fall to the Atonement and how we are accountable of our own actions. In the middle of the Atonement explanation Hyrum interrupts with a sigh and says, "I've gotta get a drink." He left, got one, then came back and was fully engaged in our discussion. I guess it was just too overwhelming there for a bit.

A while later we were outside letting them ride bikes. They often pretend to be other people, but this time they had imaginary people too. One of them gave "Dallin" an order and then immediately after the other gave "Dallin" a different order. I inquired as to who was playing Dallin since they were both talking to him. They replied that Payton was Brother Ball and Hyrum was Bishop Hunt and that they were just pretending Dallin was there. Then, it got funny. Payton rode her bike out (pretending it was a motorcycle) then Hyrum barrels past her and says that he's faster (GO BISHOP). Payton responds, "I'm Brother Ball and I have no hair!" Then every time Hyrum said he was faster, she let him know that she had no hair. So for all of you bald people, if someone ever tries to one up you, remind them that you have no hair and you'll win the argument : )

Funny. And having no hair is a one up on everyone. However lets be clear that it is no hair on the head that is cool. Shaving all the rest of the hair is just unmanly.

James, welcome to the 21 century! The era where men take care of themselves. Mangrooming is considered manly. If you try it, you'll never go back. At the same time, with you, you just might go back, as it would probably take several hours to accomplish the task, Wookie!
