Saturday we had a get-together with some of my brothers and their families. Due to sickness it turned out that Hyrum and Payton would be the only older kids (not that they are old, but all the other kids were less than a year) so they wanted to have some friends come along. They invited Jacob and Dallin and we headed out to the park. We went to Manila Park in Pleasant Grove, which includes Novell's Children's Discovery Playground. We had an exciting lunch of pizza and lemonade while we watched some sheep in the nearby lot. Then we let the kids run wild for a couple of hours. Unfortunately, it didn't wear the kids out as much as I would have liked, despite their red faces and sweaty brows.
It did give us a brief glimpse of what it would be like to have 5 kids, although hopefully it will be easier without 2 sets of twins since we had 2 five year olds and 2 three year olds.

Fun! It looks like they did have as much fun as they said! : ) Thanks for taking the boys, they haven't stopped talking about "vanilla park" since then! We'll have to all head there together sometime-it looks like a great place!
5 kids ain't bad when they are spread out. By the time the 5th one comes along the older 2 can help out and it makes it a lot easier. I can just imagine how hard it would be to have 5 kids with 2 sets of twins.
