It Never Stops

Alec is almost a year old and although we see less spit up form the kid, it still happens from time to time. Sunday was one of those days. During Sunday School, Rheanna rushed in the room to get the diaper bag, as she said he had covered her from head to toe. She passed him off to me for Priesthood and I found him in a totally different outfit.

I stood in the back during opening exercises and Aaron stood beside me and was playing with him. Alec was laughing and loving it. The next thing I know, Alec spit up everywhere. It soaked through the arm of my suit coat, a bit on my bag and then puddles on the floor. Aaron was quick to act and removed my bag from my shoulder, asked for my keys to get in the kitchen and then was back with paper towels to clean up the flood on the floor (thank goodness it was in the gym). When the dry paper towels weren't removing the white color from my suit, he went back out to return with a wet paper towel and worked on it until my suit just looked wet. Although, I still have to make another trip to the cleaners, I am so grateful to Aaron for making the experience a little easier to deal with.

Five minutes later in group meeting, Alec was asleep in my arms.
