Water

On Friday, I was so excited to be able to post at work, but have not come up with anything exciting, thus the following post. Enjoy, you may need to find a urinal : )

In my effort to get in shape, I've really tried to focus on how much water I'm drinking each day. I took one of those water mugs, Rheanna got at the hospital when she had a baby, with me to work. It's great because it measures 32 oz. I fill it up twice a day and have made a schedule forcing me to drink a certain number of ounces throughout the day. When it's quittin' time, I've consumed a full 64 ounces or my 8 glasses a day. I also drink plenty before and after work, just not measured, so it's really over 10 glasses a day.

Well, the first few days of doing this were rather difficult; you'd find me needing to empty my bladder every 15 minutes or so. I know, ridiculous. There was one day I was picking Aaron up for lunch, so I went right before I left my office. He was stuck on a phone call and was delayed in coming out, I waited and waited, but could do no more when I thought of starting the car up and knew it'd be all over (literally). I then had a brilliant idea to go in his building and find myself a restroom. It was very exciting! I'm sure this isn't a very uplifting paragraph, but I want it known to the world that I can understand when a pregnant lady really needs to go. I can also say that since I've been working every other muscle in my body at the gym, it was time to work on the bladder muscles too : )

Now that I'm in my second week of water consumption, I must say that it's easy. It was just a transition period for my body. Water is great stuff, drink more!

I just wanted you to know that I have added your link to my blog, but I would hate for my family/friends to only have your bladder problems to read about. So though I sympathize with you constant need to go to the bathroom, enough already!!
