Young Mens Presidency

Since some people informed me they really don't care how often I go to the bathroom, I decided I needed to come up with a better post for when people check out my blog. I know I didn't need a disclaimer to start this post, but that's what I do, give explanations for every thought that I have. Oh well.

I just wanted to inform the world of what an awesome presidency I have to work with. Kevin Pyles is the 2nd counselor and the scoutmaster. He does such a great job at getting the boys to run the program, I don't even have to wonder about what they are up to. Fortunately, he does inform me what they are doing so that I can effectively do my calling. Seriously, can there be someone more genuine, enthusiastic, and determined?

Aaron Ball is the 1st counselor. Since we have such a small group, we have combined the teachers and priests for our activities, so I work with Aaron in all that we do. It has amazed me how many spiritual abilities he has. We are really good friends, so I feel I know him extremely well, but I often find myself in awe at how he teaches the gospel and inspires the boys.

Mike Monsen is the secretary and, although he's new in the ward, the boys have quickly found that he's someone they can look up to. He always carries a genuine smile and a great attitude.

Soon after we were called I was told we'd be one of the most "anal" YM presidencies around. I, of course, took that as a great compliment. At the same time we really do have tons of fun and will definitely continue to have more of it. In fact, we are determined to top the Christmas skit that I did with my previous counselors last year : )
