Does it Really Matter?
A while back, we changed up our workout schedule and only do weights MWF, so TTh we do cardio. We've tried several things from machines to swimming to walking/running. I still do machines or swim from time to time, but I think the walking/running is my preferred one. It seems to give me the best consistent workout. Well, Aaron developed a system of walking lap 1, speed walking lap 2, jogging lap 3, sprinting lap 4 and then starting over again with walking. We do this at least 5 times (2 miles). Since the goal is to improve performance, the need for better shoes arose. I hit the sales at Big 5 and got some new running shoes. I tried to keep it in a low budget, so the salesman suggest I get running socks as well. I was a little skeptical, but looking at the features on the package they looked like they would be somewhat beneficial. On Sunday I was discussing it with MaryAnne (an expert runner of the neighborhood) and she said they make a huge difference. Anyway, the point of my post is almost here.................. Today I tried them. They make a huge difference!!!! I can't even describe it really, but your foot feels free from the shoe, it doesn't slide around though. You just have a very empowered foot that could run for miles. I just need to find something to empower my legs : )

My interest in definitely peeked. I am going to Big 5 ASAP. Let me know about the leg thing :) How much were the socks?
They were just $6 for a pack of two. They might have some that are cheaper, and definitely have lots that are more, but these are great!
