Ball's Cabin

I know it's been forever since I've blogged. It seems that nothing has been that exciting lately, besides holidays which Rheanna has already blogged about. January 1-3, I had the privilege of going on a relaxing getaway. The young men were going to go on a winter campout to the Ball's cabin. We went last year and had a blast. I was in YM then, so I obviously went along. This year I was bummed. Then Mike mentioned to me an idea about going. Then I had to figure a way to justify my little vacation. I decided I could drive again, so off I went. The first day, it was just the teachers. Aaron, Koki, Mike and I were there as adults. It was weird because Aaron and I had no responsibility as leaders, so we just kind of hung out and played games. The boys slept in a snow cave, so we stayed inside and relaxed with a movie. I, of course, fell asleep (I just can't make it through movies after dark). Once it was over, Koki took a big stretch and somehow broke a chair, still not sure how that happened. The next day, the younger boys came up with Kevin, James and Cory. We had a blast sledding and just having a good time. The weather was pretty drab the first two days, so I don't have much sun in my pictures. It was definitely a great trip and worth every minute of my time, even though I didn't sleep in the snow cave. I do apologize to the YM, Kevin, Mike, James and Koki for not have good pics of you guys. We'll have to go again, I guess.

Fun on the zip line.
